AMT-SYBEX kicked off the New Year with a client event held at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich. It was an example of the company supporting the British Olympic Appeal, Beijing 2008, and will be the first of such events leading up to this year’s Olympic Games. Dame Mary Peters, Dame Kelly Holmes and Sir Matthew Pinsent were the guests of honour at a celebratory dinner entitled “Hall of Fame"
The three former athletes took part in a lively Question & Answer session and Sir Matthew showed two DVD’s especially created for the BOA, as well as explaining how the British Olympic Appeal will seek to raise funds for Beijing 2008.
AMT-SYBEX Deputy Chairman, Brian Miller said, “It was a terrific evening and it was a delight to hear from three superstars. As ever they were very giving of their time. AMT-SYBEX has had a long association with the Olympic Games and we are delighted that we can do our bit by helping to raise funds for the British Olympic Appeal.”
