We are looking to recruit experienced Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Consultants with a proven track record to take a prominent role in the architecture, design, development and delivery of solutions to our essential industry clients.

Our consultants operate across a range of client industries designing and implementing EAI solutions.  The roles combine technical skills and competencies with customer facing consulting activities. They work closely with our customers to ensure the best possible solution to meet their business requirements and deliver a return on their investment.  They also have a key role in all phases of a project life-cycle from project initiation (requirements & architecture definition) through to realisation (design, testing and support)


As an EAI Consultant you would have the opportunity to work on range of projects for different clients. In order to be considered for this role you must be prepared to work away from home on a range of client sites across the UK and Ireland.

Experience

•    Experience of working within the design, development and implementation of enterprise integration solutions – essential
•    Experience in several phases of the system development project lifecycle including requirements gathering, assessment and documentation, architecture definition, functional and technical design (including data modelling),,software development, testing, implementation and support - essential
•    Usage of common standards and methodologies – essential
•    Consulting experience – essential
•    Experience in delivering client presentations
•    Experience in delivering integration solutions within essential industries including utilities, transport and government sectors - preferred
•    Experience in delivering associated solutions including mobile technologies and enterprise applications - preferred


Skills and Knowledge   

•    Strong communication skills both written and verbal
•    Ability to interpret and translate between customer and technical staff
•    Educated to degree level or equivalent in engineering, science or IT
•    Experience of using common design, modelling and testing tools such as Enterprise Architect or Rational Rose
•    Experience of solution delivery using one or more of the following integration tools: Sun JCAPS (ICAN/ eGate), Webmethods, Mule, Biztalk and Netweaver
•    Knowledge / Practical Experience of several of the following technologies: SOA, Web Services, XML (and associated technologies), .NET (VB & ASP), J2EE, JMS, MSMQ, SQL , HTML, Microsoft Office applications
•    Optional  Knowledge / Practical Experience  of Mobile technologies:  GPRS, GSM, GIS, FFE, Afaria, Sybase iAnywhere, MobiLink, ASA and Database Synchronisation
•    Knowledge / Practical experience of solution delivery on one or more of the following platforms: Citrix , UNIX & Windows

Our clients are mainly based across the UK and Ireland.  Our consultants are required to travel and stay away from home during the week on a regular basis.
