Solutions Architect
This role requires an individual who understands a wide range of technologies and applications and can provide appropriate overall architectural designs for large scale IT implementations. This challenging role will require first-rate communication skills combined with a broad perspective on business and technological design principles. The Solutions Architect must have an end-to-end vision and be able to appreciate how a logical design will translate into one or more physical solutions.
The following additional attributes are required:
- 8+ years experience with IT implementation projects
- Understanding of best practice architectural design and methodology for some relevant technical areas e.g. integration, web architectures (.NET, J2EE), data warehousing, Mobile Computing and related toolsets
- An understanding of application package architectures and options for integration, Mobile Computing and data warehousing
- Should possess sound customer engagement skills, be a capable facilitator and communicator both written and verbal.
Knowledge of Integration Broker/EAI products and Mobile/Hand held solutions would be desirable.
