AMT-SYBEX awarded Buying solutions framework agreement For Mobile Solutions (II)
AMT-SYBEX is pleased to announce that it has been appointed by Buying Solutions, formerly OGCbuying.solutions, (an Executive Agency of the Office of Government Commerce) to the Mobile Solutions (II) framework agreement as a provider of Bespoke Mobile Solutions.
Following a detailed competitive process through the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), AMT-SYBEX has been selected after demonstrating an ability to deliver complete end-to-end mobile solutions comprising of: Mobile Applications, Consultancy and Business Process Analysis, Project Management, Hardware, Software, Peripherals and Accessories, Telecommunications and Managed Services.
The Catalist Mobile Solutions (II) framework agreement specifically reflects public sector demand to satisfy the scope of increasingly complex mobile solutions including Information Assurance and emerging Next Generation Network (NgN) technologies. The £690m four year framework agreement will allow any public-sector organisation to avoid the full OJEU process for projects in excess of (circa) £150k, instead procuring end-to-end mobile solutions from pre-qualified suppliers.
Ian Whitefield, Director of Mobility at AMT-SYBEX said 'We are obviously delighted to have been selected as a provider for mobile applications. We have been implementing mobile solutions since 2000 and have learnt through practical experience over this time how to make them work and how to recognise and avoid the common pitfalls. Many of our clients procure equipment and services through the OJEU process so it is an environment with which we are very familiar and we look forward to extending our offering to new clients through the framework agreement over the next few years'.
AMT-SYBEX has been able to use its wide portfolio of multi-industry mobility implementations including Network Rail, Southern Water, Transport for London (TfL), National Grid, the Metropolitan Police and the RSPCA to convey the technical expertise, support services and corporate responsibility required to deliver highly competitive mobile solutions across a range of public sector clients.
